LEAP and CLEAN offer one or two visiting fellowships per year to outstanding researchers (faculty members or PhD students) working in one of LEAP and CLEAN’s core research areas. Visiting fellows will engage in their own research while actively participating in the intellectual life of Bocconi University. Each visiting researcher will be hosted by a member of the LEAP/CLEAN faculty. The duration of the visit may be one semester or a full academic year.
Responsibilities
LEAP/CLEAN visiting researchers are expected to contribute actively to the academic life of the Center by:
- Participating in weekly seminars at Bocconi University;
- Attending and presenting their work at LEAP and CLEAN events or other relevant Bocconi seminars;
- Conducting their own research described in the application during the visiting period.
Stipend and Support
LEAP/CLEAN visiting researchers do not receive a stipend. Office space at LEAP/CLEAN will be provided for the duration of the visit.
Applicants are asked to indicate in the application form:
- Whether they require financial support; and
- Whether they would be potentially interested in teaching at Bocconi University.
Visa and Immigration

In the form, you will be required to submit:
- A curriculum vitae;
- A description of the research project to be undertaken during the visit (maximum five pages);
- One relevant writing sample; and
For PhD students only: one letter of recommendation needs to be emailed directly by the recommender to LEAP@unibocconi.it for a complete application.
