Victoria Biagi

Victoria is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Liverpool and an affiliate researcher at the United Nations University-MERIT. She was a visiting researcher at the CLEAN Unit at Bocconi University during the 2024–25 academic year. 

Her research sits at the intersection of political economy, urban economics, and economic history, with a focus on how crime, organised crime, and related public policies shape social outcomes and voting behaviour. She holds a double MSc in Public Policy Analysis and Human Development from UNU and Maastricht University, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Bologna.
