Margherita Moretti

Margherita Moretti is a postdoctoral researcher in Demography at the Invernizzi Center for Social Policy Impact Research and Evaluation (INSPIRE) and at the Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy, Bocconi University, where she works on the ERC-funded project FRAILIFE. She holds a PhD in Demography from Sapienza University of Rome, and is also affiliated with the Helsinki Institute for Demography and Population Health and the Max Planck – University of Helsinki Center for Social Inequalities in Population Health. 
 

Her research focuses on population health and mortality, on their socioeconomic inequalities and interplay with family dynamics, intergenerational relationships, and kinship structures, including kin availability, loss, and health status
