Fabrizio Bernardi is Professor of Sociology at UNED (Spain). He received his PhD from the University of Trento and has held academic appointments at the Bielefeld University and the European University Institute. He served as Chair of the European Consortium for Sociological Research from 2012 to 2020 and is currently Editor-in-Chief of European Sociological Review.
His research focuses on social stratification, educational and family inequalities, and the role of luck in socio-economic attainment.
